Horizontal Panels: Minimizes your "visible seams" when installing slatwall; our horizontally cut panels have a 1/2 groove on the top of and on the bottom of each sheet. By stacking one sheet on top of another, the seam stays hidden when the two 1/2 grooves meet to form one groove.
Vertical Panels: Advantageous to use when wrapping slatwall around interior columns or when the area needing slatwalled is high and narrow.
Enter Quantity: Minimum of 10 sheets
The amount of space between each slatwall groove is referred to as "On Center". For example, if you order 3" On Center slatwall, your slatwall will have three inches between each groove. 3" On Center slatwall is a retail standard size slatwall sheet that creates more display space by having 15 slatwall grooves per sheet; while 6" On Center has 8 slatwall grooves per sheet.
Slatwall is manufactured in two different cut styles either extrusion cut or non-extrusion cut. What you plan to display from your slatwall will determine what type of cut style you'll need.
When you have large, heavy weight items to display from your slatwall, we recommend extrusion cut slatwall with aluminum extrusions. Adding aluminum extrusions to your slatwall, when installed properly, can increase the durability by 75% over non-extrusion cut slatwall.
This type of slatwall is used when you have lighter weight items to display from your slatwall such as jewelry, t-shirts, lingerie, socks and watches.
Choose the extrusion type based on your display needs.
Aluminum extrusions add maximum support to your slatwall for displaying items such as sweaters, jeans, leather jackets and lawn equipment.
Choose the slatwall edge finish that will best serve your installation purposes.
The end cut finish allows the slatwall panels to be easily stacked on top of one another to maintain the “on center” groove spacing by having the 1/2 groove at the top and the 1/2 groove at the bottom to form one groove.
The finished edge gives your slatwall panels a clean finished appearance on the perimeter of each slatwall sheet.
Choose the slatwall finish that will best match the décor in your store, inside of your home or garage.
Paint Grade Paint Grade slatwall is slatwall in its raw Medium Density Fiberboard (MDF) wood form. This type of finish gives you the natural wood look. It can also be painted to any color you choose. When painting, use the type of paint that is comparable to wood trim use. Will ship within 5 - 10 business days.
Melamine Melamine slatwall is a paper product that is fused onto the MDF board. We only use 130-gram paper to provide extra strength to the panel. Select from our standard line of melamine colors: white, antique white, almond, champagne, black, fog grey, lt. grey, brushed aluminum, cherry, soumi birch, lt. oak, and hardrock maple. Will ship within 5 - 10 business days.
High Pressure Laminate High pressure laminate slatwall is recommended when you need a specific color and more durability than a melamine finish.
