GROOVE TREATMENTS

Aluminum:

Aluminum extrusions are metal channels that are added to the slatwall grooves during the manufacturing process to provide extra strength and supportability. Slatwall with aluminum extrusions can increase the supportability of the slatwall panel by 75% vs. slatwall without aluminum channels inside the grooves.

Slatwall with groove treatments such as aluminum extrusions or vinyl extrusions require a different type of groove cut. The groove cut is deeper so it can accommodate the extrusions.

Stock aluminum channel colors: mill finish/silver.
 

PVC:

PVC tape is used to cover up the wood that appears inside the grooves of your slatwall. PVC tape is great to use when you want your slatwall and your slatwall grooves to match. The pvc tape is added during the installation process.

Stock pvc tape colors: white, almond, black, blue, red, yellow and green.
